Market Manipulation in the Precious Metals
In this video Eric Sprott talks about the market manipulation in the precious metals markets. He feels some of the indicators indicate the precious metals are at an inflection point. For example Germany regulators said that there is more market manipulation in the precious metals markets than the amount of market manipulation found in the LIBOR scandal. Eric looks at the timing of some of the manipulations in the precious metals market and asks why it might be happening and who is benefiting. He also discusses how we need to prepare ourselves to survive what some others are calling the counterfeiting of the currency. Usually when you think of the word counterfeiting you think of an illegal organization. In this case it is the government that is “counterfeiting” our currency by turning up the printing presses and creating money out of thin air in programs like quantitative easing.
